The inside of ze earth.

Layers of ze earth

Here is the inside of the earth. enjoy!

P.S. We are living on the crust, which like the skin of a pear compared to the inside. Beneath us is the upper mantle and below that is the mantle. Both are made of magma and are inferno hot. The center of the earth is the core, which is molten Iron.

Divergent boundaries and Convergent boundaries shape our planet.

Convergent boundaries happen when two plates hit each other.
The continental pates form mountains when they collide and Oceanic plates create trenches when they collide. But when both collide they form either volcanoes or canyons.

What is Shasta?

Mt. Shasta

Mt. Shasta
Don't be fooled by Mt. Shasta's looks. It is really an extinct volcano.

The future

The future
This is Pangaea Ultima, the continent that will be formed after the age of the humans. I would want to live on Madagascar, wouldn't you? Click on the picture to see an enlarged picture of it.

Volcanoes, Volcanoes, Volcanoes!! And earthquakes, too.

Volcanoes were extremely common around the Ring of Fire, a massive fault zone in the Pacific Ocean. Earthquakes happen, and volcanoes erupt frequently around here.

Sea floor spreading

Sea floor spreading
This is a pick of the sea floor spreading. It creates new earth. Where the sea floor spreads, volcanoes are formed.
